Ambulatory Surgery

At WeFIV, we offer the Ambulatory Surgery Unit so that our patients can recover from procedures in the comfort of their own homes.

What are the differences between conventional surgery and ambulatory surgery?

Usually, the word "surgery" is associated with hospitalization and a long recovery period, but in recent years, technological advancements and the implementation of new techniques in surgical interventions have created ambulatory surgery. Unlike conventional surgeries, these procedures are performed using minimally invasive techniques. The patient does not need to stay in the hospital or clinic, for more than a few hours, which significantly reduces the risk of hospital-acquired infections. While maintaining the effectiveness and safety of conventional surgery, ambulatory options reduce the trauma caused by surgery, allowing the patient to return home and resume daily activities shortly thereafter.
