The Carrier Genetic Testing (CGT)<\/b> helps prevent our children from being born with a genetic disease.<\/b> Parents without a family history of genetic diseases and who do not show symptoms themselves can be carriers of a genetic mutation. The goal of this test is to identify these mutations and determine if the maternal and paternal genes are compatible, to avoid transmitting the disease to the future baby. Each person's genetic information is stored in genes that are part of the DNA within each cell. Each gene has two copies, one inherited from the mother and the other from the father. When one of those particular genes has a mutation or does not function as it should, genetic disorders occur.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
